Centre for Inspired Living

The Vision for the Ministries of Music and the Arts at the Centre for Inspired Living is to amplify through Spirit, Soul and Voice the Beauty of Universal Love.

The purpose of the Music Ministry or Ministry of the Arts at the Centre for Inspired Living is to uplift the community by providing a space for the opening of the hearts and minds of the congregants; by providing the space to heal; to assist congregants in celebrating together as a community; and, to support the weekly sermon topics.

While we welcome everyone’s participation regardless of your ability level, the qualities that must be present are the following:

• A heart for people and the CIL community;
• The desire to build community at CIL;
• A desire to see people’s lives transformed through the music and arts;
• The desire to make a difference by coming from a heart space that allows the congregants to open their hearts and provide a space for their continued healing and opening;
• A willingness to give through selfless service;
• Minimum of 4 months of consistent participation through visioning, rehearsals and performance with the CIL choir;
• Member of CIL;
• Regular attendance at CIL;
• Attended a Free the Heart Workshop, the Five Day Workshop or one of the educational series being provided by CIL; and,
• The ability to be a team player and take direction.
